About Us

He is the "Biochar Bob": biochar media personality, educator, connector and researcher. He's traveled the outside world telling the story of biochar and he's traveled inside biochar with a confocal microscope. Five minutes with Bob and you quickly realize he is a force-multiplier and the biochar world is better for this.

Why biochar?

My biochar journey began by making biochar in a coffee can; my life has never been the same since. Regardless of my role, my goal has always been the same - to illuminate everything that biochar is and to tell the story well.
